I use a PC to TV converter From Sewell Direct (fairly cheap , around 40 dollars) connects through the monitor with the VGA cable and to the TV with the S-video cable. The picture is good, and I have to use my PC sound system, which is a good system for my music anyway. Of coures you can get wireless and sound through your TV at a higher price.

The Mediagate-350 is excellent to use with PC and TV. Give it a try. I have one and am well pleased.

I stream my music, photos, and video media wirelessly from my computer to my Buffalo Link Theatre which is connected to my TV. I've succesfully streamed content this way to two Link Theatres from the one server. Works nicely for everything from the videos that I shoot myself to my music or Graboid content.

I use a Buffalo Linktheater. It streams video from the computer through the TV at up to 1080i resolution via a built in wireless connection. It reads all the media on a computer and presents a menu to choose from. It also has a built in DVD player.

These were recently on sale at Buy.com for less than $100 and at Amazon for $120.

I bought a 4-way Video/Audio selecter from radioshack, ran a s-video cable from the computer directly to the selector, ran all my other video sources directly to the selector the same way, then went from the selector directly to my surround system which then plugs directly in to the tv. It was simple and works great.
