We hear stories from many of our users on how they either watch Graboid on their PCs or their TVs. There have been some quite inventive solutions, and we’d like you to post for the benefit of others how you’ve done. Me, I started with a 20 foot VGA cable into the RGB input of my TV, although I acknowledge that some sort of a media center solution would be better. I hate getting up off the couch to connect the cables (because I’d trip over them if I left them connected).
After a while I realized my laptop screen was big enough that if I balanced it on the corner of the coffee table, I could watch it and it kind of looked like a TV. Since it’s a lot closer to me than the TV, it takes up nearly the same visual area of my eye (and I’ve got a 50″ TV). I know most of you will recognize that as a rationalization, but it gets me through the night. Now I just use the laptop. Plus it’s a nice portable TV to give kiddies so they stop annoying the adults trying to watch hockey on the real TV.
It is eventually our plan to package a simple software/hardware solution for Graboid, but that’s in the future. For now, let us know how you’re bridging the gap.

I use a S-video cable to connect my laptop to my 35″ tv, then I run my sound into my home theatre system. We love it! it’s all we watch anymore, and I’m canceling my dish tv.
Graboid is on the cutting edge of the future here, and great customer support also.
I download with Graboid and then put the file on my flashdrive. Then plug the flashdrive into my TV
I bought a 4-way Video/Audio selecter from radioshack, ran a s-video cable from the computer directly to the selector, ran all my other video sources directly to the selector the same way, then went from the selector directly to my surround system which then plugs directly in to the tv. It was simple and works great.
I use a Buffalo Linktheater. It streams video from the computer through the TV at up to 1080i resolution via a built in wireless connection. It reads all the media on a computer and presents a menu to choose from. It also has a built in DVD player.
These were recently on sale at Buy.com for less than $100 and at Amazon for $120.
I download the DVD files to my iMAC, rip and load it into itunes and stream it via my Apple TV.
Sony VAIO VGN-AR41 to S-Video to Sony Trinitron 32 inch TV, works sometimes, all sorts of problems with extended desktop.
I stream my music, photos, and video media wirelessly from my computer to my Buffalo Link Theatre which is connected to my TV. I’ve succesfully streamed content this way to two Link Theatres from the one server. Works nicely for everything from the videos that I shoot myself to my music or Graboid content.

The Mediagate-350 is excellent to use with PC and TV. Give it a try. I have one and am well pleased.
I use a PC to TV converter From Sewell Direct (fairly cheap , around 40 dollars) connects through the monitor with the VGA cable and to the TV with the S-video cable. The picture is good, and I have to use my PC sound system, which is a good system for my music anyway. Of coures you can get wireless and sound through your TV at a higher price.
