Graboid for Mac is an Alpha release that is still in development. It will allow our users to get the Graboid experience on a Mac for the first time outside of Parallels or another virtual machine. It is meant to give our users a look into the new features that Graboid will have to offer, but development and testing has not yet been completed.
As an additional warning, we will not be able to refund bandwidth that may be lost as a result of an error when downloading or streaming. Although these features are stable enough for a test release, we have noticed some issues that may cause videos to freeze when streaming over a slower internet connection.

Since Twilight hit the theatres and now on DVD, there have been thousands upon thousands of fanfiction out there about the “Star-crossed lovers”.
Myself, being a Joss Whedon fan, was sent this fan-fiction story which is also posted here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4645687/1/Summers_Versus_Cullen

“And so the lion fe-“
Edward’s words were cut short, a look of shock coming over his beautiful face killing his smouldering glance. Bella’s brown eyes widened in shock as Edward looked down to see the end of a wooden stake pointing out of his chest. He only had enough time to turn his liquid, golden topaz eyes upon Bella one last time before disappearing in a cloud of dust.
Bella reached out, her arms passing through the space that Edward used to occupy, grasping at the particles of dust floating weightlessly in the air. The dust seemed to clear and Bella could make out a pretty, blonde girl who was almost a head shorter than her, holding the wooden stake that had taken her love away from her forever. The blonde cocked her head at the dust pile and smiled in satisfaction.
“Another vamp bites the dust!”
Bella stared at the girl, shocked by her pretty pastel pink dress contrasted with the oversized black leather jacket that she wore. “But-“ she choked out.
The blonde raised her eyebrows almost sarcastically. “What? You gonna tell me that you were in love with a vamp? Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt,” the girl said, unsympathetically. She started walking past Bella, pausing beside her to add: “Trust me, I did you a favour. He would have just eaten you eventually.”
“Buffy!” a familiar voice called from behind Bella. She spun as the blonde smiled enthusiastically and bounced off to meet the owner of the voice. Bella felt tears sting the corner of her eyes as she caught sight of Jacob leaning down to kiss the girl.
He looked up to see Bella and her pile of dust. Looking only slightly apologetic, Jacob shrugged at Bella. “Sorry, Bella.”
As the girl and Jacob walked away, Bella heard the following conversation:
“Thanks Buffy! I would’ve felt pretty guilty taking him out myself. Pretty good, but pretty guilty.”
“Hey, it’s what I live for.”
“They were going to get married you know?”
Buffy glanced back at the stricken Bella. “Hm. Well, they can be Mr. And Mrs. Big Pile of Dust now.”
Bella heard Jacob laugh. “Sure, sure.”

The much anticipated Joss Whedon show, Dollhouse, premiered a few weeks ago. Joss Whedon, creator of shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly, has left viewers saying both “Yay!” and “Nay” to Dollhouse.
Eliza Dushku stars as she plays a young woman called Echo, who is a member of a group of people known as “Dolls”. Much like the Dolls or “Action Figures” we had as children, these Dolls are portrayed as we see fit. The Dollhouse Dolls have had their personalities and memories wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas, which include memory, skills, and language, and then hired out for particular jobs such investigation, crimes, fantasies, etc.
In the premiere episode of Dollhouse, we see Eliza Dusku riding a motorcycle straight into a night club. She gets off the bike, and the “Whedon-lovers” say “What’s Faith doing in Dollhouse?!” No wait, that’s typecasting! She then starts dancing in the club wearing what appears to be a very short dress or a somewhat long top. Oh well, Eliza is hot, she looks good in anything!
Day to day she has her memory wiped, striped to a state of childlike quality, doing finger paintings and eating pudding, only to be later imprinted with a persona of crime fighting ability, evil villain or sexual animal.
The show however is developing more of an intense plot. We have the Hero – Echo, and the yet to be seen Villain – Alpha. This is the hook that is keeping viewers watching. Who is Alpha and what his deal with killing everyone?!
Hopefully Dollhouse is not trying to be too many things, and in the end, ends up being nothing. Dollhouse can grow past that. It does have the capability to expand with intrigue and action.
If you are one of the world’s biggest Whedon-lovers, you’ll watch Dollhouse, because, hey it’s Whedon! I want to love Dollhouse. I love Buffy; I love Angel and I love Dr Horrible!
Will Dollhouse become our, “It’s Friday Night, set your channel to…” or will it be “Its Friday night…I guess we can watch Dollhouse”? Only time will tell.

Premiering February 12, Survivor will be on its 18th season / cast-off to an island. I am extremely impressed that is has lasted this long. It is a soap opera for viewers to watch that don’t want to admit they watch actual soap operas. I must admit, I am one of those people. Every season I am fascinated by the exact same situations people end up in from the previous seasons.
For 39 days, a group of people willingly starve themselves, and are put through some of the most physically intense challenges of their lives after only eating a handful of rice, for a chance to win a million dollars, which is later heavily taxed. Forced to live outdoors in a bamboo hut, fighting off cold weather during the night, by desperately clinging to any type of body heat one can get.
The producers of Survivor create new and exciting scenarios for each season. I.e. Three ending finalists, multiple immunity idols, and the challenges do seem to be physically harder than before.
There is also the twists the contestants’ have begun doing the last few seasons, such as creating their own hidden immunity Idols, that actually do look like the real thing, or as far as we can tell as viewers.
There is always the “Bay Watch” appeal of the attractive women and physically fit men running around in bathing suits. Bringing on the Model Boxer one season, must have definitely gained the season some ratings from the male viewers.
Each day bringing new and exciting situations, the host of Survivor taunts these contestant through their challenges just to make them fight a little harder, and we applaud with a thunderous roar.
Survivor has endless surprises, constant manipulation, driven sex appeal, brutal action, and it’s all brilliantly edited. Mark Burnett, you’re my hero!
