All servers are operating normally.

PayPal is currently experiencing major server slowdowns, so if you upgrade your Graboid subscription the upgrade may take several hours to take effect. This is usually instantaneous and PayPal is working on the issue. If you upgrade your subscription and you don’t see your increased bandwidth right away, please be patient and do not signup again as you will be charged for each attempted upgrade.

If you’re having trouble logging in, press cancel and then login again, without quitting. All servers are operating normally.

Although the real solution is to simply keep downtime to a minimum, we’ve implemented a new status window to let people know when there is a server problem. You’ll see this window on the login screen, as opposed to having to check the blog. But you should still read the blog! There is interesting stuff in there.

Our servers are down for planned maintenance today from 9am to 12pm. Users can download the app and sign up for an account, but the application itself won’t operate until 12pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We were having a problem processing transactions on one of our servers, but it’s been fixed as of 1:30pm and we’re now working to retroactively fix all affected accounts. Sorry for the problem, and thanks for being patient.

What was supposed to be a 30 minute outage for a hardware swap turned into a more involved process earlier this evening, but everything is operational as of 10:30pm EDT.

We’ve solved the database problems which resulted in Graboid being inaccessible for many users on Monday. We’re back up and running normally, and did not experience any outages yesterday.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be performing additional server upgrades to minimize any future downtime, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience.

We’ve been hard at work repairing our database today, and are currently experiencing some issues with our application server, meaning you may be having difficulty logging into Graboid or registering your new Graboid account. We are aware of the problem and will hopefully resolve it very soon.

On a positive note, we’ve isolated the database issues causing accounting problems over the weekend, and they should be eliminated for new signups. Our support team is still working hard on fixing all other individual account problems from the past several days.
