I just saw the screenshots for the new website that we’ll be putting up later this week. To quote Borat, “Vury Naase”. Everything’s changed but the Octopus. You’ll get a kick out of the homepage for a very specific reason, and I’m looking forward to getting peoples’ reactions. No hints, just wait for it.

People have been yammering at me for a year now to watch “Battlestar Galactica” and I finally got around to it this weekend. Actually a pretty darn good show. I’m surprised because normally I have no patience for TV other than live sports, comedies, or the occasional drama that I watch with my wife. She’s off visiting family right now and my beloved Maple Leafs are becoming laughably bad, so after the NFL playoffs are done, what to do, what to do… I’ve become disenchanted with World of Warcraft as I’m stuck in some nether-region called Desolace, and only infrequently run into anyone else, let alone from my own faction. Sorry, I’m digressing.

Battlestar – I loved the original series and moaned its demise, but this new one is a great substitute. I can’t quite get over Starbuck being a girl, but other than that thoroughly enjoyable. My other favourite shows are Entourage, Dexter, Dirty Sexy Money, Rules of Engagement, Brothers and Sisters, and when I’m really pressed, Two and a Half Men. If that sounds like a mix that appeals to you, then definitely check out Battlestar Galactica. I’m sure you can buy the DVDs cheap on eBay since they’ve been around a while.
