The quick poll (topic now deleted) on operating systems clearly showed that the problem was not a problem with Vista. Another poll - this time whether prior to the recent problems you had custom destination paths, or had you used the defaults.

We do realize that we've disabled preferences and you can't currently check your destination paths. This question is about what you recall you had done prior to the problem appearing.

I have sent you emails with my error logs and describing my problem with the download manager and yes it started when I changed my preferences to a different location. I tried to change it back but it made no difference after it had been changed.
I changed it because there was a posting on the forum from someone who said he had solved the run time error by changing the loction his downloads were going to.
I think you on the right track the change of preferences.

I've got the error where the download manager won't load, FYI. I've never moved my preferences. I think the only change I've made in prefs is to use the filter. I have 1.0 and Vista.

not downloading. is grabiod working on the problem? It says 0% download. Only been a member for a little while, it is great when it works, but it seems it down more than up. $12.95 a mo. An it seems like it is very frustrating to run this program. hope you get it up and running soon. thanks Joe

Prior to changing my download location your program worked fine after it was installed and running . I did not get the runtime error until I had closed it and restarted it.
So I un-installed it and re-installed each time i wanted to use it.

After reading the forum and finding a post that said he had changed his download path and his problem with run time error had been fixed I tried changing my preferences. Big mistake
This is when the download problem started.

Hope this info helps.

Post Graboid Video downloading in possible wrong folder. Reply with quote
Graboid Installer: I noticed that Graboid Video folder is being installed in C:/Documents and Settings/myname/Start Menu/programs/Graboid Video. And possible folder may be missing files. Graboid Video was before in C:/Programs/GraboidVideo. So after tracing a bit it got my attention that it could be the installer. Just more think on this subject. The Graboid Download folder loads in the correct place C:/MyDocuments/programs. Just TRACKING>>>

Post Order of Errors Reply with quote
I don't see how the preference settings would make a difference in this because i installed Graboid 9.5 in my main computer then a week later put 1.0 on my brand new laptop. It ran in default just fine until Thursday night. Same goes with my 9.5 on my main computer (which also has a 1.0 version installed. Both computers get the same errors and they are both completely separate from one another. The first one i noticed was 9.5 error when trying to log in. Then in 1.0, which would let me log in, started malfunctioning. The first download errors were after the down load when i tried to play a completed file. The error said (mind you this was almost 3 days ago so i cant give you word for word) something was missing, to click play and Graboid would try to go back and play it. It never did. Second was the search feature not working and/or not being able to drop the cursor in it. Then the download manager error started on stream or download making downloads impossible no mater what i did. Last and least i noticed the preferences link was grayed out and not working because i read it in the forum and checked mine. Hope some of this helps but im pretty sure you guys knew all of this. Just hoped the order of my malfunctions might help in someway. I'm dying without Graboid.
