We notice that Joost went from beta to live a few weeks ago. It’s a standard sort of site you’d expect from commercial interests – trading (our opinion only) sub-par content for advertising inserts. For those of you who are familiar with Joost, what do you think? Is it a viable alternative to cable TV? Their latest announcement was a deal with Major League Baseball to televise major games about 24 hours after their live airing. Can’t figure out why that’s interesting, but maybe we’re missing something. They do seem to be getting a lot of press. Not that we’re jealous or anything.

Have looked at a lot of movie and tv sites. Tried some. Overall you guys have the best
in this area that I have seen and used. Your selection and ease of use is very good. Your
free side makes it easy to ‘try b/4 you buy’. I very quickly upgraded to the unlimited version.
You also make it very easy to filter out the adult section, which I appreciate. Since 500gb
external hard drives are now under $100 I have downloaded lots and lots of movies
and shows to it. Most of them have good quality. Large hd movies don’t download very
well to the external drive, though. Hope your new upgrades will help in that area.
Have refered your site to many poeple. Can’t wait to see what you have coming!!
The interface for Joost is very attractive. Well thought out layout, and many interesting features; that been said, it is no where as content intense as Graboid. I have, also, referred my co-workers to Graboid, and we all agree that Graboid is indeed in a world of its own !! A fantastic interface and maybe, a more stable streaming would make this “darling” the finest yet .
BRAVO !!!!!!!!!!
i checked that out, i really hate it. it’s all flash, no substance
