We’ve added a few exciting and useful new features to Graboid this morning: comments and attributes.
The next time you’re in Graboid and you click on a video title you’ll be able to view and add comments to share your thoughts and experiences with other Graboid users. By default you only see the two most recent comments, but clicking the + button expands the comment box to reveal all of the comments and the form to post your own. You also now have the ability to sort by # of comments by simply clicking the “Comments” header.
Now you’ll be able to find out just what you’re getting before you view or download a video. When you click a title to reveal the playback options, you’ll now see “Video Format”, “Video Source”, and “Audio Format” just beneath the video’s title (when available).
We’ve optimized the code so Graboid should now load somewhat faster for users on slower connections.
We will leave comments open on this post for the time being because we’d love to hear your feedback about these updates. Just remember, the forum is for support questions, not the comments section here.

Being able to check out the source of the video has to be one of the best improvements yet. Thankyou. No more wasted time on ‘handheld in-theater recordings’ . When I see the word CAM, I’ll know to move along. What a great timesaver. You guys are the best…and always getting better.

Also, on the system overloading, perhaps limit comments per Day/Hour? I see people attempting to chat. Should be a strict commenting feature
Hey guys, i just joined graboid, and i think its awesome!!!!! but i have a question…. can i burn the movies i downloaded from graboid to a cd? thanks
Although it is sometimes annoying to get the “cam” recordings, it’s also nice because you can see a movie before it even leaves the big screen. It is good that it is there, though, when there are better versions out. Thanks much!
This feature is very good, way better than BitTorrent. thanks for creating this.
I like the comment feature u have added, thank you.
Just one more thing - could it be limited for free users to comment on movies people are spaming it! You should warn them if they spam they will get thier accounts banned.
BTW: why not disable the comment “add feature” from the videos tab and only allow users that already downloaded that particaly movie to add a comment?, that way we reduce spam from free users.
One more thing make sure u dont forget to change the Graboid Tip on the left hand side in the yellow sticker
it should include u can sort by comments too! GL
Quick thing: after downloading a movie, could we add a comment? i mean not everyone downloads it and knows which one it was to comment it.
- somehow make a link so you can comment movies that are already in your library.
