We released the latest version of the application yesterday, with notices being posted on the application itself to let current users know. You can download the new version here. Significant changes include rebuffering when the stream is too slow, and the listing of user ratings in the search results. Some people have had a few issues with downloading and installing the new version – this is not universal. Please email us at beta@graboid.com to report problems. In the meantime, we recommend uninstalling the previous version and re-installing the new version.

Awesome, look forward to the next version too.
There are some interesting new features. For instance, for some reason the viewing program couldn’t cache enough of my selection to play, so a box popped up suggesting that I archive it so that I would have it all together when it was playing.. I didn’t realize it wasn’t all together before, in just the play mode.
I find the search function seems more robust as well.
So far this beta testing experience has been great fun.
Oh, I liked the way the update installed, and was very glad I’d saved my assigned password for the upgrade. That took me by surprise a bit, that it would be required. since it was an upgrade to existing software
Archiving/downloading no longer works for me whatsoever. Streaming works beautifully now though.
I find it annoying that even after I installed the new version , it keeps telling me there is a new version available and I should download it.
I know I’m running the new version because the interface have changed.
F.x. it now says Downloads instead of Archived.
I have tried to install Graboid on Linux using Wine, and I have been successful to the point that I can open Graboid and search for videos.
If anyone wants to try this out, you just need to install IE6 before you install Graboid and you should be fine.
The problem arises when you try to play videos or download videos. If I press play or download, it says that it is downloading the info and then it gives the error “Error processing download/playback information. (NilObjectException)”
Is there anything you can suggest I do or anything that you can do to make this work better under wine?
[moderator: It's nice to see that you're making some progress in running Graboid under Linux. As I'm sure you might expect, we cannot focus on Linux related support issues until we've ironed out all of the bugs from the native Windows application. Nevertheless, we will attempt to eliminate this bug, as we've had one other user report experiencing this issue, so it may not be directly related to running Graboid under Wine.]
I have also experienced the NilObjectException error when trying to play or download anything. I am using windows
