Graboid is fully operational this morning, Sunday, as of 10am. Logins are slow, taking approximately twice as long as usual; however, once logged in the system is operating normally.

We had an unexplained spike in server hits yesterday that was unrelated to the amount of site traffic that we were getting. This is something that could happen again today, but we’ve taken action to close off the ports used for the spike.

Our new architecture to be implemented at the end of the month is designed to avoid an outage in the event of this type of situation.
