UPDATE: We’ve discovered that Graboid versions older than 1.2 are not compatible with some server-side code changes that have recently been implemented. If you don’t see “1.2″ in the title of Graboid when you open it, it’s an older release! Specifically, the problems are as follows: Graboid 0.97 crashes on attempted login, and Graboid Video 1.1 doesn’t log in properly, and when a search is performed in 1.1 it logs the user out of the system.
We cannot stress enough that you keep your version of Graboid up-to-date. If you are experiencing either of these problems, please uninstall your current version and download and install version 1.2 here. These issues should be completely resolved once you upgrade.
Please bear with us, 0.97 users, as we attempt to resolve the problem with your legacy version of the software. On that note, we have been supporting the beta 0.97 release since 2007, despite releasing much improved software since that time, and we will shortly have to pull support for that version as it is impeding what we can do to further development on Graboid. 0.97 was always a beta (meaning a test release) that was never intended to survive the long-term. Upgrading costs nothing, and guarantees a smoother experience, so again, please follow the download and installation instructions here to update your software at your earliest convenience.
Thank you, and we apologize for the troubles.
Based on forum posts and our own observations on bandwidth usage, there are ongoing problems with some users not being able to access Graboid. This is affecting between 10% and 15% of our users, and we have not yet been able to pinpoint the problem, as we can’t duplicate the reported errors in our test environment.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and we’ll figure this out as soon as we can.

I was in that 10 - 15 percentile of users that Graboid was not working for. I did post a blog comment regarding my outage. However, as of today, Graboid seems to be working successfully.
