I just reported this problem to the beta email address and then I come back and you have it on the blog. You guys are very quick at responding to problems. The effort and communication is appreciated. Looking forward to watching!
when i go into my archived movies it go’s alittle nuts on me like starting and stoping rapidly.then locks up.
Video cuts out after 2-5 minutes for every movie.
Archive doesn’t work. Keep clicking on icon but unresponsive.
Screen says “Playing ……..” but no picture no sound.
VLC media player appears on screen….that’s it!
This gets five stars and 2 thumbs up from me.
Amazing download speeds while archiving!!!!!!!
I get faster speeds with this than I do downloading from any web site on the net, not really sure how you guys managed that. If you guys could make a download manager that could get speeds like that, I know I would fork over the cash to buy it.
Well so far I can only watch anything on here if I archive it. When I stream it, it stops showing. Sometimes it stops a minute into the start and once I got it to stream for about 35 minute before it quit.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a forum or something where we could post and read others to see how things are going. Another thing that would be cool would to be able to search for stuff by actors or directors.
Can’t wait till all the beta tests are complete and running full steam ahead.
to continue with my last post. I am having the same problem greg is having with the archive. After I got 3 archives the list keeps disapearing and then coming back (just flashing on and off. and after a few times trying to click on a movie it crashes.
Thanks for the report about the archived list. The flashing archive list issue is almost always related to the speed of your processor –it takes some time for the list to refresh every 5 seconds and more recent machines don’t experience this issue. We will work on correcting this in the next release.
Jenny, I e-mailed you a response, but you mustn’t have gotten it. Does the top-most item say that it’s paused?
I really don’t think it is my processor causing this problem for me. I have tried this on both my computers and my fastest one I am running is a Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 2.66GHz 8MB Cache 1066MHz FSB - Overclocked to 3.2GHz with Standard 2GB Dual CHannel DDR2 SDRAM at 1066MHz.
I’ll keep testing it to see if I can figure out what is going on and will keep posting when I find something else.
