UPDATE: The application and site should be working correctly now.
We’ve encountered a slew of problems during our upgrade to a database cluster today. We are still working extremely hard with our web host to get the problems sorted out as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

well good luck!, im anxious to watch some movies
oh where oh where are you to night. miss ya.
Since the upgrade has gone awry, and is taking much longer than usual, iIt would be nice to refund a days worth of access to your users that are not able to recieve servces that have been paid for in advance.
[moderator: premium users will absolutely be compensated for the downtime -- we haven't yet decided if this will take the form of additional free bandwidth, or changing the renewal date to add an extra day or two of service]
You don’t know you miss something until its gone. Good luck with the upgrade guys and thank you so much for the service.
Keep up the good work,
Brian
Oh and I forgot. Not trying to start a flame war. Put you can just keep my money for the days your down. I still think its worth it. Yes I could download through IRC or search news servers ;-), or frostwire. But how could I find the selection all in one place. Thanks again.
Brian
thank you is right! yu guys are really great and we had no idea how much we used your site/ As for the one person wanting a small refund, they always claim it is us woman who are ***^&^, if you know what i mean. at least this time it seems to be a male! anyway, we hope you keep up the great work, we do love you!
how long do you think before you finally come back on?????
and yeah, i m not a cheap-fuckin-bastard…..you can keep my money too………
[moderator: you should now be able to use the application and sign in to your account]
yeah but how long before somebody could signup for a new account…
thnx for everythin though
[moderator: The web site is now back up and fully-functional.]
Maybe Graboid should have done some testing before installing these “updates”. for example, most IT professionals know that testing the updates on a mirrored server that is not conneted to the internet is a smart way to avoid problems such as these. Then, they would have realized that there would have been problems, thus been able to work out the bug before deploying an untested solution.
With as much money as Graboid is making off of us, of which I am sure a high percentage of us are premium account holders, they should be able to afford these service assurance measures.
I am not proposing refunds to be an asshole, I am proposing them so that in the future Graboid will put a little more thought towards their customers and the services that they’ve paid for. And sometime, hitting them in the pocketbook is the only way to make them understand.
Granted, Graboid is the best provider for the services they offer, but that isn’t a free pass to be excused from a disruption is service that could’ve been prevented with some extra planning and testing. Especially when servicec as of late have been frustrating at best.
[moderator: I have to agree with your sentiment Omar -- but we're not in the business of web hosting, nor have we been in control of this upgrade process (unfortunately). We're working with a third-party on that aspect of the business, who supposedly planned this entire upgrade to occur within a 2-6 hour time-frame. It's been in planning for weeks, and the execution has admittedly been terrible. Please believe me when I say we expect and demand better for our users and will not let this stand. Our premium users will be compensated, and we will announce this officially within 24-48 hours.]
Glad that the sites back up, free bandwidth would be cool
PS Really enjoy the site, keep up the great work!
Looking forward to future improved playback.
I agree with ‘cod3x’. I think all users should be compensated somehow. Not just premium accounts. Increased bandwidth would be a nice jesture for those of us not fortunate to have a premium account. Maybe a couple of extra gigs.
RE: “[moderator: premium users will absolutely be compensated for the downtime — we haven’t yet decided if this will take the form of additional free bandwidth, or changing the renewal date to add an extra day or two of service]”
How does additional FREE bandwith work on an account that already has UNLIMITED bandwidth?
And as far as an extension on the renewal date, when your customers continue to pay the monthly flat rate to RENEW their subscription, that’s hardly copensation. The only way that might work is if Premium subscribers cancelled their subscriptions, and instead of it cancelling right away, it cancelled at the end of thier term, plus a day or two.
Otherwise, people that keep thier accounts, the end result will be that no compensation will have been made.
Pretty sneaky Graboid.
We as your customers love your service, but we aren’t stupid…
When one complains, the rest of the creeps come out.
Just be happy that there is such a service as Graboid and be happy.
Are there any plans for Graboid to become standalone and not have to rely on third-party web hosters?
The complainers must abviously be ‘free’ account holders. They want something for nothing. grow up and enjoy the service, or better yet, if your that unhappy, don’t use it. that will bew more bandwidth for the rest of us who appreciate the service.
Who cares if premium users such as myself can’t use the service for a day! I have neither the time nor the inclination to ask for a refund of 80 cents or so. That’s a complete joke. Why on earth would anyone who is blessed to have found such a website be anything but thrilled that the very company is putting in great efforts only to improve its platform? Give me a break! When I saw the site was down for even longer than expected, I simply smiled and told my wife, “Look, here’s a company who is doing their best to keep up with demand!” Besides, it will give you complaining turds a chance to hop on over to the video store and reflect on how things used to be. Ah, the good old days! Late charges and all!
CHEERS TO YOU GRABOID!
Pete
Let me start of by saying graboid is a great service. its starting to get a little heated in hear and everyone needs to be calmming down. graboid has offerd to make those unhappy customer happ again. what more do you all want. they could have offered nothing at all.
keep up the great work graboid.
Okay, I am between two worlds here. i understand the sentiment of some being upset that their favorite site is down, and wanteing to be compensated for it. sad as it is, that is the way of the world nowadays. i think i understand what Omar was trying to say as far as better implementation of the update, though asking for a refund was somewhat petty.
the moderators message in Omars first ppost, and as quoted again by Rogue, I can see the point that Rogue makes. the moderators response doesn’t really make sense. Perhaps however, graboid was quickly trying to quell the murmering of refunds. maybe even too quickly, and put out a response that wasn’t well though out.
I doubt graboid is trying to ’screw’ anyone. If anything, you might be able to say they spoke without really thinking what they were saying. It would seem that silence might have been the better response until graboid had a better opportunity to react properly.
whatever it is, graboid is doing the best they can to provide quality service for us. Kudos for that.
Oh, I also understand that the update was out of graboids control. with that said, are there any plans for graboid to become self sufficient, so they do have control over thier updates and the integration of them? Maybe that’s the good thing that can come from this?
We love you graboid!!!
Everyone is entitled to being compensated for the amount of time they are unable to watch a movie or show.
However, is there any real way to solve this problem……not a whole lot at this moment.
Also, has everyone forgot that this version of Graboid is a BETA
BETA, meaning that it is still in its trial and error phase.
Perhaps when the Beta version transitions to a full working version, maybe then should we be compensated by paying half of the cost for 6 months. Only to those who stuck it out and been a true Graboid customer and user.
Stop the whining and sit back enjoy some movies.
to the Graboid crew……..keep pushing forward…….your doing great.
All Glory to Graboid!!..just look @ the depth of content that Graboid has & delivered to you.@ .I found this great site when I was looking on the web for a tv series on a channel that my cable service does not carry (Torchwood /BBC-A) & now I haved watched every episode !!! (@1st I thought was to good to be real). but now thats what I call ” bang for the buck”.. hey guys here’s an idea for you if you want people to find out about Graboid ..print up some T-shirts,etc. make everyone “walking billboards”… & sell them thru a site like cafepress.com just don’t go all “kid stye” on us ya’know keep it simple like a small logo w/ web address on upprer front & large logo on back w/ web address & a tag line like “you want it Graboid’s got it!” ( just a suggestion ..ya know) I would buy a few dozen or so! .. keep up the good work guys.. you really got a great service here..you can take my money anytime!!
Ya know the difference between Graboid and the Canadian Dollar? The Canadian Dollar is usually up every day
Just j/k. Hope you got the “we gotta fix its” out of your system. If it ain’t broke (too badly) don’t fix it. Let sleeping dogs lie. Don’t cross the bridge til you get to the river. Never do today what you can put off til tomorrow, and if it really is broke….form a committee.
H Kinsey
I don’t need or want a refund. Just keep working hard for all graboid users and I’ll be happy. But oh how I missed you. Please don’t go away like that again.
It wasn’t easy going without graboid for a day, it’s my everyday thing. I know u had good intentions behind the update, the only thing is that it took much longer than anticipated. But hey things don’t normally go the way we always want them too. I really dont know what a refund to some of us with unlimited services will do for us, so left to me forget about the refund crying ….. Thanks to u guys at graboid though for a great service. keep on the doing what u do.
everyone i know has the streaming issue. graboid lists our speeds at 500kbps or better. I am a platinum member till the end of the month. someday this may be worth paying for, but as of now we are all beta testers. I have tried other programs and it is true in theory that this program has the widest streaming selection but there are too many cam rips(with thumbs up), incomplete movies, moves in the wrong language, and files full of errors. I am very disappointed. my money would have given me more value as toilet paper.
this is not how you run a buisness folks. perhaps you folks should spend some of that wasted cash on finding out how netflix can do perfect streaming movies without any waiting.
thanks for nothing

Some times quantity is better than quality. The diversity of Graboid is by far the best. People should realize (and I’m sure most of us do) that Graboid is still “BETA” and there will be alot more problems to come, so you have to ask yourself…is a 80 cent refund worth it?… No, just put it towards making Graboid better
Yoo-hoo, I upgrade two days ago to the paid and still am showing “your search has timed out”– just wanna get on, no quibles over the great value and love your witty real life dialoque with us customers- fun to talk to you all are- but do want the service that comes with your witty dialogue….
I’m a Gold member which costs about £6 (UK) for a month. That’s about 20p a day, which in many countries in europe is the cost of using a public toilet, once. Therefore the loss I’ve had through Graboid being down for a day is hardly worth thinking about. Do I want a refund? ….I don’t give a sh**.
Keep up the good work fellas.
There should be an option to give a thumbs up/down as soon as you begin watching a movie. As I understand it, the only way to give a thumbs up/down is to watch the entire movie which kind of defeats the entire purpose. I mean who want to watch an entire movie that if it doesn’t look good.
BETA BETA BETA…sure we pay for it (for those of us that our actually paying) but the word BETA to me means there are more than likely going to be a few problems on the road to an established non-beta version. My comparison is people complaining about the loss of service for one day on a beta program….would you complain if you ISP had to much traffic and you could not download your normal speed? Do you complain and ask for coupons if the grocery store is out of a particular item?
I have been on all kinds of other sites…in2streams, tv-links (when it was up), stage6, oodu, veoh, even Usenext. Graboid makes all the other sites look like a dot-matrix game boy next to a psp…would I rather have a psp that doesn’t work one day out of months and months, or a game boy that always works? I’ll take the psp thank you!
Last but not least….ONE DAY!!!! that is it…. I GUARANTEE I watch more tv than most of you…..I do not even have cable anymore….just a good computer with a plasma tv and apps to find video…so that should tell you how devoted I am to the “internet TV ” experience…I rely on it. But one day??? Come on, it was refreshing if anything to go outside and not watch TV!!! I propose everyone just imagine that they were doing something else yesterday and were not even trying to watch shows on Graboid. Do worry about Graboid paying you back….all that will do is thin their pockets and maybe even cause further delay in the arrival of a non-beta Graboid.
a correction, DO NOT worry about Graboid paying you back….
my earlier post was related to an earlier thread. i just wanted people to see it.
as for being paid back it is pointless one day is nothing.
but i think the point here is that we are paying for a service that fails on a regular basis. also we are PAYING to be beta testers. we are in effect paying to help these guys develope software. it is a crock.
I have canceled my platinum for now. I have great hope for this. I will happily pay again when they figure out how to deliver what is promised.
[moderator: Rob, we offer a free version of the software (with no commitment to upgrade) to anyone that wants to try Graboid. We expect our users to make sure they are happy with the service before upgrading. We have learned a lot through this beta phase, and are very happy to have also learned that a lot of our users find our service invaluable and don't mind paying for it. I'm sorry that you were not happy with Graboid and are not interested in maintaining your platinum account, but I encourage you to try (for free) the next revision which has been rebuilt from the ground-up with our users' feedback in mind. It will be released before Christmas. Thanks for the feedback.]
I have no complaints about up grading a wonderful service if it is going to make things easier and better for us all, but, I just want to know why I cannot see any of the movies I have previously downloaded. I think they are still there, but I cannot actually see antyhing on my download page or my flagged page:( Keep up the great work Graboid!
thank you mod. I am aware of the free level and started there. i will stick around to see how it goes.
Great Job and great to see you working out the bugs. Though it would be nice if you gave the paying customers the Free 4GB bandwidth on top of there payed for bandwith. Nonetheless its great to see you back up and running. Keep it up Guys.
I have the same problem as Venessa, but it acually started working today for some reason, its a bit iffy but it works for streaming and watching full movies for a cheap price which couldnt be done with netflix because they only have movies. Some of you just need to stop complaining and leave if you want to, you read and understood the user agreement so deal with the errors and mishaps for now, one day this will be the best thing going for “P2P” because someday you may not have the luxury because the RIAA is not a friendly assaciation, my friend is being sued for alot of money because he downloaded 21 songs at his college…wheres the point in hurting the little guy, we are the people who buy music and movies..$20 for a DVD $50 for a HDDVD and $500 for an HD player..its outrageos; and as for CDs $10-15 is unexceptable thats alomost two hours of work for a minimum wage working person. Think about it people its a LUXURY and who are we to accuse the Graboid company of putting us out of movies for a day. They obviously did it for the greater cause of the program. Just think about it as remodling your house to look and work more efficiently. How can you complain about that $12 or $24 if you dont like ti go back to Bittorrent please for the sake of us hearing your Bit***ng:-)
Although it would be nice to have extra gigs, we shouldn’t have to ask or even demand, let the business decide for itself how it handles the sitch.. and thanks again graboid you guys are seriously the bomb keep up the hard work
The use of the word Bandwidth, where you use it, does not apply to your service. Bandwidth is what limits, on the flip side, enhances the speed in which a movie is downloaded. One is not buying BANDWIDTH from Graboid. One is buying a VOLUME of data regardless of the bandwidth, the later determined by the mechanism to deliver the goods from Graboid to the client. Std DSL is slow, it has limited bandwidth regardless of what service I buy/subscribe to. Fiber and cable offer higher bandwidth permitting movies to be downloaded faster than, let’s say, DSL.
For starters, I bought 50GB of data. PERIOD. Regardless of how fast/slow it is delivered to me. I buy BANDWIDTH from my ISP, NOT Graboid.
Unless a subscriber has fiber or cable, this service is not useful (possibly short of access to films not naturally available on the open market).
I take issue, ask why Graboid says that they do not host the movies. Huh? Since UPLOADS are extremely slow , regardless of the ISP, this is not a Peer-to-Peer service. Thus someone other than a client , you and I in the marketplace, must be hosting the media. Since Graboid says that their service is legal, who is hosting their films?
Right now I, unfortunately, find the service useless
Unless one has fiber or cable, the download is painful, very painful. By std DSL, it take approx 12-14 hrs to dwnld a 4.5GB movie.
For $12-13 per month, I can rent 3-4 films a month.
I do believe that Graboid is on the right track, i.e. downloading films IS the future. Hosting films is not the problem, bandwidth IS the problam. (see post above about Graboid’s use of the word bandwidth). Fiber and cable are NOT economically justifiable. $40.oo to FiOS buys MANY DVD rentals per month, whether from a retail store or through Netflix.
Regarding the free service, the 4GB of data (NOT bandwidth) does not cover the download of ONE movie.
Have suggested to GRABOID that they identify the data format, i.e. IMG, ISO, & VIdeo-TS.
I downloaded one movie from two sources (about 4.7GB in size) three (3) times. Each and every time, I ended up with 4.7GB of .rar files. Once they were processed, i.e. Video-TS files were generated. One set was recordable, the other two were not. BAD downloads? Maybe BAD uploads? The IMG file was quickly converted to ISO by a simple tag change, recorded and subsequently played. Downloading .rar files is chancy at best.
[moderator: There are all kinds of videos smaller than 1GB, and shows are usually ~0.4GB, so free users have access to PLENTY of content. We will be including the video codec and video source soon.]
when are there going to be new shows and movies uploaded?
why do i have to login just to watch a downloaded movie
buy the way i lost all of my downloads duringing the shut down, due to i had to reinstall to get graboid just to let me log in
i having a big problem signing into the website graboid to veiw all my shows and videos.every time i log in it starts but then stops . tell me what can i do. this is only my first month with this website and already its messing up,i reinstall, i modify. what else should i do?
RE: “Why do i have to login just to watch a downloaded movie?”
Here is a workaroud to your issue…
Navigate to (or do a search for): C:\ —> Program Files —> Graboid —> tools —> media —> vlc.exe
Send a shortcut of VLC to your desktop. That is the media program that plays all of your content files.
If you don’t know, your content files are located at: C: —> Program Files —> Graboid —> tools —> nntp —> archiver
Create a shortcut of the Archiver folder as well.
Now, all you need to do is Drag & Drop the movie folder you want to play onto the VLC shortcut on your desktop, and they will play.
Also, if your like me and have download some movies that wont play after downloaded, somtimes instead of dragging and dropping the movie folder onto VLC, you can open the folder, and drag the individual files and view them. It’s a pain, sometimes, but if you really want to watch what you’ve downloaded, that might save you the feeling of wasted time and bandwidth.
One final thing, Graboid Guys, I’ve sent an email to your support guys twice already, but haven’t gotten an answer. I’ve upgraded to your Platinum Package, but am still showing stats for my silver package when I login… I’d love to be able to download again…
There is another download site for viewing movies, however you cannot save them. A monthly fee of 9.95 entitles the membership to download - as if for free - but it does not compare to graboid, you can’t save the movies. This 9.95 gives you encrypted movies, you can’t watch them in their encrypted state, so you can’t save the movies. I looked up the movies that were included in the monthly membership - you don’t have to pay per view - and found 80 per cent of them available on graboid. http://www.vongo.com Their download speed might be the same as graboid.
Yes you can do it completely free by downloading u-torrent software but normal bandwidth is around 25 kb/s but it’s free you say. An 800 meg file takes about 36 hours to completely download. However what language is it in, will you complete downloading before it’s removed from the download site, are you willing to participate in a peer - to - peer network which means access to your computer’s hard drive, do you like downloading a good movie title only to find that it is pornography, do you want to monitor a half dozen different torrent sites to see what’s available? Do you want to pay $50 for peer - to - peer software?
The conveniences offered through Graboid: language indicated, download speed of 175 kb/s ( I was surprised to see that ), automatic compilation of .rar files, easy name search, television downloads from the previous day.
Anyone notice that even good weather has it’s rainy days?
Thanx Graboid.
I upgraded my service during the midst of all this, I have been charged, but yet cant watch anymore movies, cuz I still have not been upgraded to gold on your site. When will this be corrected? I am in the same predicament as others.havent been able to use this great source of movies. PLEASE help! Thanks..Julie
The updates did take a while but I’m satisfied that it was worth it. I’m really impressed with the download speed. Very nice! Keep it coming. By the way, would you take suggestions for some programs? Max Headroom? Nowhere Man?
well im getting peed off at first the service was great i tried the free one and the films came down at fast speed off my laptop then there was a problem with errors after i paid for 50 gig downloads so i put on my pc everythink fine except downloads come down fast then suddenly they drop to 0 kps it keeps doing it yet before was totaly fine on my laptop .i cant get software off laptop even a unistall method wont do it cant even system restore dont work .. oh and before u could click on downloads they go to a file then they disapear off the download list i have to restart for thenm to come bki dont know whatrs up but if the problem dont get fixed i shall not be paying for another month of service

All I would like to say is this…….using graboid and dsl this past Wednesday I downloaded 57 episodes of the Avengers while I was at work. Now one thing Graboid ain’t…is slow.
H. Kinsey
ok guys…I am going to let you have it. I love your idea NOT YOUR SO CALLED SERVICE. You are playing with words here and technicalities. When I down load movies for 8 hours and use my so called bandwith that I pay for, some movies are downloaded twice thus taking up my space. Some movies, due to some often happening glitch are just lost and I have to redownload them, again using up my volume. Some movies are just plain junk and unwatchable. Some movies are in a screwed up format, some movies will not play and all of this uses up my time and bandwidth. I am not sure this is even legal notwithstanding what you say. When I see the TCM logo I know it’s not legal. Hey, I appreciate this site but I am beginning to think it is not worth the hastle. Get your act together or shut it down until you can get it together.
Graboid,
ignore the idiots who are on here bitching…let them go back to downloading off of limewire or torrent sites and then you’ll see them crawl back (albeit it signing up under a different email account to save face).
For the price we subscribers pay, a little downtime in order to provide better/faster service is well worth it. Think of the amount of money people pay for TV and all the hassels that gets you (commercials, show rescheduling…commericials…….)
you rock my world.
I believe that Graboid should set up a simple Yahoo? forum that we could go to to compare problems and other topics concerning Graboid.
It gives us a place that we can compare the quality of our own downloads, to warn or encourage others to download or not.
It also would give Graboid a wider perspective of how to possibly go down the path to success.
Personally I can’t hit my flagged button, because it shuts down Graboid, anyone else experience the same?
Also how about adding concerts, say like RUSH…
To the Moderator: Regarding dwnlds

Offering a video codec - is a VERY good idea; “…and video source (pls, what does that mean?)
Noting the video format - IMG, ISO, VIdeo-TS - for each offering will be a BIG plus.
HMMM…. Mr. Steve, the one with the amazing comment about letting Graboid have it….allow me to let you have something as well. http://www.videoprofessor.com This is a great course for you to learn how to use your computer….you obviously have yet to do so. Also, you can go to http://www.hookedonphonics.com, there they can teach you how to read things, like, oh I don’t know…2 comments above yours where the moderator asked that people discontinue with problems not based on the topic of this particular blog. IF Graboid upsets you so much….I am sure your local cable company is willing to take more of your money so you can watch more commericals.
Oh…and Steve, you should tell this to yourself “Get your act together or shut it down until you can get it together.” For everyone else, my apologies (included you guys at graboid)….I am sorry you even had to read that…some people just really need to hear it.
I sent an email tonight to let support know I can’t watch a movie from start to finish. I did not receive the usual confirmation email. Did you get my email?
Kevin
I don’t know about any of you others, but, My top download speed all day hasn’t reached 75kB/s. It’s taking hours to download even a 608MB movie. I’m sorry, but that seems to be more of a DOWNGRADE to me
[moderator: The recent changes to our server should have no affect on download performance -- the content servers have not changed in any way.]
I wouldn’t be so quick to point a finger at Graboid on that one Bruce. I downloaded 3 movies today and was getting about 2 mbps on each one. Didn’t take long for any of the downloads.
“I sent an email tonight to let support know I can’t watch a movie from start to finish.” -Kevin
Hey Kevin, it’s strangely comforting to know that I’m not the only one who is having problems streaming movies and seeing them to the end. It’s completely random when it stops too. Sometimes it stops after 1 hr, sometimes after 15 min. It can’t be the file because there have been times when I’ve restarted the same file, and get about 45 min further than the first time. I know it’s not my bandwidth because speedtests peg my connection at about 10-15 mbps.
Hey Graboid, I love you guys, but is there any effort to stop blaming bandwidth and files, and give the many complaints about this issue some TLC? : ) When I first started using graboid, I had probably 2-3 weeks in which I didn’t encounter 1 problem with streaming videos from start to finish without a hiccup. It was awesome! Now I just try to remain patient (understanding that this IS a beta *wink* ).
Hope things get worked out.
Dan
My download speeds are good as well but since the upgrade there was been no new content. Em I the only one having this problem?
No new content showing here either. Newest is showing as 2 days ago, but it’s actually 3 days in the UK. (probably time zone diffences account for up to 8 hours, but not several days)
I don’t know about anyone else, but my graboid is showing about 250 new files added today…
I was about to vent my frustration & jealousy at Lauren, but just checked and YAY!!! New files!!!!!
Need to get my fix and end severe withdrawal symptoms…thanks Grabs!
I have noticed that some files that were there before are gone now. Are those files going to be readded later? I was watching through the dragon ball z series and got up to vol. 18 when the update occured. Now vol 19-24 are missing. They were there until a couple days ago even though when i tried to download them i just waited in que. Now they appear to have vanished? Any thoughts about what might have happened to the files?
I always thought that the English Language was the most Universal Language.
I’ve been following the symbolic flags next to the files listed for downloading.
They are American Shows Like “Charmed” season 4 episode 3 is one of them.
It had an American Flag Next to it…..That represents English, Right?
I was upset to find that after waiting a few hours to watch only to find that none of them were in English. I’ve checked the audio tracks to find out if there was any tracks in English available, but there were none. Almost all of the shows here that I like are not in English, why? Their mouths on the screen are moving in English. Someone put the wrong Flags on the wrong Files. Are you guys located in the USA? No offense….
“UPDATE: The application and site should be working correctly now”, wrong, lie, owned, can’ty believe i resubscribed!!!!
I agree with Dan. “Back in the day”, I was able to stream every video from start to finish. Now, I have not been able to get A SINGLE VIDEO to play to the end. Your selection is great, but the program really sucks. And what about these random outages? For a company that charges for a service, these outages, which I may say are quite frequent, are unacceptable. Haven’t you guys ever heard about the 5 9’s of service uptime?

I re-subscribed because there are no other options. With a crappy program and lousy customer service, who would stick around if there were other choices?

Well, I see the system noted as having “had” problems, but it still “has” problems. I too am in my first month. My free membership wasn’t what I was told it would be so tried the best option. At this price I should be able to watch a movie or two a week minimum. It takes me 6 hours to download a movie and watch it. Most wont even move to download or get stuck. now that this upgrade has happened I haven’t seen a movie in over a week. Seems like you guys may be in over your head here, but I hope that patience will pay off. I like your concept, hope that reality catches up with the software so that we can all get what we are paying for soon. Put your best effort into it, those that are faithful will hang in to see the rewards, hopefully soon.
Thanks!
Logged in to Graboid today and noticed the new movies added today. However, what language are the movies in?????
Now I am stuck watching movies after they download that are in a different language.
Also, why are we limited to just one download at a time. Most sites will let you download up to 3 at a time. I am able to download one movie and watch one movie at the same time.
Since I have been using Graboid for 2months now. Downloads are not too bad. Interuptions are annoying when they happen.
I just seem to be doing a lot more DEFRAGMENTING since I started using Graboid. Maybe how the files get allocated might be something Graboid should check into.
Other than those problems……….I still enjoy using Graboid……………. I will keep looking for the NON-BETA version of Graboid.

It’s been in planning for weeks, and the execution has admittedly been terrible. Please believe me when I say we expect and demand better for our users and will not let this stand. Our premium users will be compensated, and we will announce this officially within 24-48 hours.]
It’s been longer than 24-48 hours, and we have as of yet to hear anything from you regarding compensation. And service now is even crappier than before the updates. Are you blowing us off or what??? With all the money you’ve collected from us, we demand better service.
hey guys, first i wanna say thank you for all your hard work. ive read everyones posts on here and its weird i was working the day the updated was done so i missed all of that but ive downloaded 5 movies in two days and everyone of them took 16 mins tops it might be me but ive never had any real problems with this progarms…..
anywho good luck
and ima keep on paying and keep on watching my movies
Hey all,
I don’t know what kind of game these people are playing. I submitted a support email over 4 days ago and never received a email from a person at support. This is not the first time this has happened. The more problems we have and the more we speak up, the more we get ignored!
HEY MODERATOR - Ignoring the people who pay your bills is not a good way to run a business!

Is it me or are files dissapearing from the network? I’ve been watching a show but there are less files (episodes missing) than there were a few days ago. It’s a little bit frustrating, but I’m confident you guys will be able to work it out…I just would appreciate it if I was told why it’s happening.
[moderator: There's nothing in particular going on that might affect content as far as we know.]
Can anyone tell me why my shows are not downloading?
hey! someone edited my comments i left to say something else, WTF is going on here?
[moderator: We never edit comments other than for foul language. We do sometimes delete comments in their entirety if we feel they contribute nothing to our users, e.g. if you've had a problem with the service and rather than stating the problem and asking for a fix, you simply rant against Graboid. Feel free to say negative things, just maintain a vaguely professional tone.]
I’m a new member, right away I was pleased, I upgraded and now have problems.
I’m still sticking w/ Graboid, but please give back bandwidth, due to the malfunctions.
Thanks! (*)(*)(*)((*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)*(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)
I can’t believe that most of Garboid’s posters do NOT understand, know the definition of ‘bandwidth’!!
This shows Grabolid the intelligence level of its customers. I am sure that the level is higher than how Graaboid’s clients use the word ‘bandwidth’. The folks at Graboid are not stupid. They are just seeing how ignorant their customer base it!
Since the upgrade/update everytime I click on “flagged” or “downloads” I get an Over Stack exception message and then Graboid goes into (not responding) mode… Can you tell me what I should do?
I tried to send an email but whenever I click on the contact link nothing happens! nothing at all… Weird.
[moderator: uninstall Graboid and all files, and re-install the application. This isn't a problem we've ever seen before.]
