If I download something that does not work, X it, and then delete it do i get the mbs back to use ?

[moderator: Sorry, we're not in control of the content in any way. Use the votes (checkmarks or x's beside a title name) to determine if a file is likely to work before downloading. There are also many ways to make files work that may at first not seem to be openable. At a minimum, click 'reveal' after clicking a downloaded file's title and try playing the file in a viewer other than Graboid.

Absolutely you should make clear what happens with the voting - I burned 266mb thinking that streaming was a problem. Also, you should make it a choice to have the vlc take over all your preferences. I spent some time having things the way I wanted, and then to have my audio and visual files get pushed into another player was not a happy moment.

could each entry have a serial number or something so when it do download a bad file you can make sure you don't download that one again .

[Moderator: The entries actually are unique. So when you flag one using the vote up/down buttons, that particular version is permanently flagged.]

I'am really glad you posted this. I have run across a number of video files that where marked by an X. (vote down). I downloaded it anyway and the video file worked. I hope now people will understand fully what the vote up and vote down buttons are used for.

The idea of voting is good but maybe you should have made this point at the beginning. The good thing about streaming was that you could take a quick look at the quality of the video or if it worked without using all the download time. I sometimes encounter this problem and it seems like a waste of time, if you are paying for a service you want consistency in quality. Also, download sizes have increased and downloads are appearing as 2CDs or 3CDs why cant we have them together?
