2.0 teaser

Billing issues

While most companies would shy away from a topic such as billing issues, we wanted a policy of open communication with our users. We’ve had some notable billing issues in past months: some users have been double billed, some not billed at all, and others canceled for no reason. The simple fact is our priority has always been making sure you’re receiving the best download service and along the way we outgrew our billing system – and sometimes it decides to have a mind of its own. But – good news! – we’re working on getting a new billing system that will be bigger, better, and eliminate these recurring issues.

While we haven’t seen any major billing issues in months, we’re committed to making sure your subscription is working as it should, and that problems are resolved as soon as possible. If you feel you have been affected by a billing related issue, please contact Customer Service and we will make sure everything is sorted out.

Graboid Question of the Month Q: Can Graboid add a feature that would trigger my anti-virus/malware software to run after I download a video?

A: Graboid already automatically deletes files that have a high probability of containing viruses: executable and batch files, as well as a few others, are automatically deleted to lower the chances of users receiving viruses. Even so, we still strongly encourage you to properly scan internet files by ensuring that you always have up-to-date anti-virus/malware software on your computer.

This question is a great suggestion and is something we’re seriously considering for future versions of Graboid. Thanks for the great idea!

Contacting Customer Service?

Make it as seamlesss as possible

If you are having a problem, calling or emailing Customer Service can be the best way to get it resolved. Here are a few tips to help make your experience as smooth as possible:

  1. Have the following information handy:
    • Your username
    • Your email address (the one on your account)
    • If you don’t know your username or email address, we can identify you by the last 4 digits of the credit card you use
  2. Be as specific as possible:
    • “I received an error” likely won’t get you the help you need. Be sure to make note of any specific wording, warnings, or errors you receive.
  3. Be at your computer.
    • If you’re experiencing a technical problem, it is best that you are at your computer when you call
  4. Ideally, the person experiencing the problem should be the one to call.

Tip of the Month
Clearing Cache

If you have bandwidth remaining, but Graboid says you don’t have enough, you may have to clear your cache.

To do this, go to the Downloads section in Graboid. Make sure nothing is currently in progress, then click on the ‘Status’ button, then click ‘clear cache’. Now log out of Graboid and log back in.

This clears out anything Graboid may think is still in progress and should let you use your remaining bandwidth.

You Ask, We Answer
