Graboid 2.2 for PC and Mac Available Now

Recently we released Graboid 2.2 for PC and Mac and here are a few things to look out for. We’ve enhanced Saved Search even more by adding My Videos category to make it quicker and easier for you to access your saved search results. Now with one click you can see video search results for all your saved searches. We introduced a Tagging feature. You can now add tags like Works/Doesn’t Work, Genre, Video/Audio Quality, Language, and others to any video in Graboid. Tagging will make it easier to sort, filter, categorize, and browse videos. Happy tagging! Check out our new language filter located in the left sidebar. Quickly narrow down your search by selecting one or more languages. As always with every new release we fixed a few bugs that were discovered. Thanks to our users for their feedback. We’re also working on a Graboid Mobile framework. Soon you’ll be able to search and flag files on your mobile device from anywhere.

Feature Updates

New Saved Searches Do you find yourself frequently searching for the same videos or looking for a video that can’t be found? Wouldn’t it be great if Graboid would notify you when those videos are available? With the new saved searches you can not only set up ‘one click’ searching but also get email notifications on the videos you want most. How Saved Searches Work: Use the Search bar to find what you are looking for, and then save the search with one easy click, you’ll also be asked if you want to be notified by email when the video is available. Set up one, two, three, four, however many searches you want and “Search All” with one click; you’ll find relevant videos for each of your favorite keywords.

Tips and Tricks

Expand your searches. When you search and want to save your search, ensure that you are not in a category. The narrower you go into the search the narrower your results will be. For example, if you’re searching within the TV category on the left hand side and decide to save your search, you will only be notified when your video is found again in that category. To get the most out of saved search, make sure you’re searching from the main screen before you save.

You Ask, We Answer

“What does it mean when I get “AVS declined by users” when trying to process payment?” Answer:The AVS error that you received generally occurs when the address that you have entered is not an exact match to the address on file with your financial institution. If the address you are entering is an exact match, but you are still receiving this error, you may wish to contact your financial institution to confirm the information that they have on file. Unfortunately, AVS errors will cause pending transactions on your credit card statement. These pending charges will generally drop off your card within 2-5 business days depending on the bank. Prepaid cards can sometimes take up to 14 business days to drop off. Want us to answer your question? Submit a question here and next month, it could be your question we answer on the News Page!
